Canadians... for or against the monarchy?

Personally I believe Canada will not be under the monarchy forever, on day Canada will become a republic just like how in Australia they say once the Queen dies we`re becoming a republic, that will also trigger the Aussies to finally adopt a new flag, as that's always been big issue over there, with the Australia flag debate. Our style of government is modeled after how England does it, and if we were to become a republic that would change, considering how the Queen as head of state today is only ceremonial and she can`t really do anything I wouldn`t mind becoming a republic, i would view it as a step up in our development and history as a country. Our REAL CANADA DAY!
