Would moving to Austin, TX help me to be able to date?

Hi, I am originally from TN, but (albeit VERY unfortunately) live in Colorado Springs at the moment. I have been single for the entire five years that I have lived here. I do try to make small talk with women here, but they act all cold or stuck up and don't want to have anything to do with me. I think that they hold it against me since I am from the southern United States. I realize that Texas is not a southern state in terms of culture, but are women down there friendly like they are in the South? BTW, since I have lived here I have learned that Coloradoans hate Texans for some reason and I think that they ume that I too am from Texas due to my dialect. In fact, I have been asked if I'm from Texas since the dialects of Tennessee and Texas are so close. So, do you think that if I moved to Austin for college that I would be able make friends and/or find a girlfriend unlike here in the Godforsaken state of Colorado?
