What do you propose we do with all the illegal immigrants who show up in the ER asking for medical care?

Give it to them. I'm a nurse, and I would never withhold care based on someones immigration status. Are we monsters? Are we robots? If you work in the health care industry you job is to provide a service to those who are ill or ailing. There are no stipulations regarding immigration when it comes to a life or death situation. If you, or someone you love, were in another country (illegally or otherwise) and something happened to you... would you want their hospitals to care for you?
