Is it worth it to try and become an actor/actress?

It seems so fun, I mean, look at Narnia. I love it and I would kill to star in a movie like that. But the thing is-- I'm asian, I have no interest in being an chinese actress. It'll probably be impossible for me, a chinese girl (I don't have an accent) to star in an "english" movie. Also, it seems like it's not going to be possible because well, I don't have experience, agent, or anything. It's just a dream.
