Why should I worry about conserving energy when gas and electricity wont run out for years and years from now?

gas and oil is running out quicker than you think, by 2025, you will see a definite lack of fossil fuel. we need fuel, wind, or water to generate electricity, without oil gas or vegetable fuel how will we be able to generate enough electricity to meet the demand?
