Question about dilation. ?

Yeah, there is no way to tell. Some people never even get ped here. They continue to stay at 1 cm until further measures are taken. Some people leave the docs and deliver within 24 hours. Some people leave and don't deliver for several weeks. 1cm isn't much and in fact is very normal when nearing the end of the 3rd trimester, but doesn't mean you will go into labor any time soon. You will likely start to know when things are getting closer. More braxston hicks contractions, the baby will start to move lower, turn, put more pressure lower, and eventually contractions. This is uming you are made properly. I know that sounds bad, but I don't know the reason for your first c section. Sometimes the pelvic floor isn't large enough to allow the baby to drop down into the c so you would likely never dialate completely, or if you did the baby wouldn't drop completely. Good luck. I know it sucks having to wait.
