How are all these spammers and fraud people from another country getting access to my info and emailing me ?

Ever since I stupidly clicked on one of the highly touted Dating 101 features on Yahoo I have been inundated with emails from Dating 101 with people trying to get info from me for the MILLIONS I have won or had bequeathed to me; According to them I am NOW one of the richest people in the world. (Actually I am a handicapped 62 yr. old raising a Grandson off my piddly disability) My question is WHY doesn't Yahoo do something to protect us from these scurrilous individuals who are trying to undermine what little quality of life we have left ?
